TEAM PROJECT EXPERIENCE:
• Multidisciplinary Petroleum Design – Worked alongside a team of petroleum engineers in evaluating the potential of the Niobrara and other unconventional shale formations in the field to optimistically drill horizontal wells in the hope of opening up the potential for new unconventional resources.
• Groundwater Engineering Design – Predicted contamination concentrations for water wells with the aid of modeling program, Groundwater Vistas.
• Field Study – Completed an observation and generated geologic maps and observations of Moab and southwestern Colorado by distinguishing and deciphering the complexity of the areas. Also, worked in coordination with Anadarko in looking at and analyzing the Cretaceous Reservoirs of Southwest Wyoming as well as analyzing a core sample of the Moxa Arch and a correlation exercise of the J Sandstone.
• Geologic Field Methods – Implemented geologic mapping skills in differentiating between rock units to map areas located close to Golden while completing relevant exercises.
• Design (EPICS) II – Geology GIS – Utilized ArcGIS in the team research and creation of a hydrological, geomorphical and geological analysis of the Grand Canyon in collaboration with the client, Paul Quinn of Ambet.
• Design (EPICS) I – Researched and designed an efficient wind turbine design for client, Golden Storage in the effort of utilizing renewable energy resources.
