As a field sales consultant my role is to acquire and generate new business. As the company is 100% owned by xerox i have to lease and sell Multi Functional Printers of their brand along with digital document solutions software to help streamline their business.
I do this by first seeking new business prospects, building rapport and lasting customer relationships, taking a keen interest in how there business works and finally highlight the areas in which we can help improve productivity and save money for them. My role is to cover the west of Scotland, source new potential customers and deliver as many customer quotations as possible.

My role at yell was to have business conversations with business owners, go through a thorough fact - find, gathering reasons to buy and relating those reasons to buy to the features and benefits of our products.
Basically I was to explain to our database of clients using non-jargon terms how we can help grow their business using a blend of digital and print products.
Both over the phone and using online demonstration software, i provided marketing solutions that include e-commerce, online/print advertising, SEO, Mobile Social Media and websites i am passionate about my carreer and i work hard and smart for my customers.
I excelled in my role with yell because i am a person that puts the customer at the heart of the sale, I am goal orientated and entrepreneurial, I take ownership and propose solutions, I am IT literate and mentally agile, I have a keen interest in digital media, I continue to demonstrate success in an outbound telesales environment and i am overall confident, hard working and ambitious.

Whilst in the army i done a lot of travelling met a lot of people and built relationships and bonds like no other you find in civillian life all of this was underlined by a set of strict core values making sure that the people i work with have the utmost trust and respect for eachother as we went about our day to day lives.
